The only individual time trial of the 2026 Tour de France, a 26.1 km run from Evian-les-Bains to Thonon-les-Bains. The first 10 km climbs the Cote de Larringes before a descent and a flat finish.

A 174.7 km run from Chambery to Voiron, billed as flat but carrying nearly 2,400 meters of climbing. The route rises for a long stretch to the Col des Pres (3.5 km at 6.6%), descends toward Chambery for the Col de Couz (8.6 km at 2.8%), then runs mostly downhill over the final 35 km. Racing starts at 13:05 CEST.

The first of three Alpine stages, a 185.2 km run from Voiron to Orcieres-Merlette with roughly 3,900 meters of climbing. After the early climb to Engins (11.4 km at 5.4%), the day ends with a summit finish at the Orcieres-Merlette ski resort, a 7.1 km ascent averaging 6.7%. Racing starts at 12:35 CEST.

A short 128 km Alpine stage from Gap to a summit finish on the legendary Alpe d'Huez. The route stacks the Col Bayard, Col du Noyer (7.2 km at 8.5%), Col d'Ornon and more before the final 13.8 km climb of Alpe d'Huez at 8.1% with its 21 hairpins. It is the first half of a rare back-to-back Alpe d'Huez double-header, with Stage 20 also finishing there.

The final mountain stage of the 2026 Tour, a 170.9 km queen stage from Le Bourg-d'Oisans back up to Alpe d'Huez with roughly 5,450 meters of climbing. The route stacks the Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Telegraphe and Col du Galibier, the Tour's highest point at 2,631 meters, before reaching Alpe d'Huez by the back door over the Col de Sarenne. It is the second half of the rare back-to-back Alpe d'Huez double-header, following Stage 19's summit finish there.

The ceremonial final stage of the 2026 Tour de France, a roughly 130 km run from Thoiry into central Paris. The finale takes in three ascents of the Montmartre climb on the Rue Lepic in the closing 15 km before opening onto the Champs-Elysees. With the general classification decided on Alpe d'Huez the day before, the day is a procession for the leaders and a sprint for the rest.
